To adults who love teens ....
God's vision to me.

In June of 1996 the thought of a place for children of all ages to fellowship and grow came to me listening to “Adventures in Odyssey” on the radio. I was inspired to create a place like “Wits end” from the program. I believe all parents want to know that their children are safe in a Godly place, especially when they can’t be there themselves. God wants me to provide this safe haven. Jesus said “Come to me all that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Mt 11:28)

There are children are running ramped with no place to go. Let's provide such a place. I am writing this to those who agree with this concept, wish to help and get involved. Helping parents helping children in a positive environment to make friends, be enriched and have fun.

Imagine walking in the front door seeing  a soda fountain counter called “Milk-n-Honey”  with ice cream, candy, Kool-aid and popcorn to name a few. To the right , left , up and down you see rooms of  wonder and excitement. A room full of games to play that is not only fun but educational as well. I believe we need to enhance a child’s full potential by providing the tools and opportunity to use them . Let’s create a safe , fun and popular environment for children of all ages to want to be. Kids go where their friends are and all children are different. The SON Center will have rooms such as a small pet  area called “Ark-aid” or a computer room called “The Net”. Other ideas are welcome as people enter and get involved. Outside I see a trick bike and roller blade ramps , basketball hoops , a garden , picnic area and tree house. Many things can be put into this environment in order to bring out the talent and call on each child’s life. The location must be one of convenience and safety.  I recommend the middle of a nice neighborhood . People can either walk or ride a bicycle to get there. It is ideally across from a park and must be zoned commercial to be able to provide T-shirts , trinkets , books and snacks. The idea is to have a place that kids want to be at, meet at, go to, learn from and parents approve of that is safe and fun .

Within the past year (1996-1997) God has directed me to others who have been given the same vision, and we now have the beginnings of the planting of God's SON CENTERS.  The first is that in Rushsylvania, OH, the second one forming as I write, in Lewistown, OH.

Basically a building or house for your SON Center will need to be available and remodeled. Additional needs will grow from there.  The estimate of time and resources will vary from community to community.  What a small price to pay for our children to have such a place like the “SON Center” in their town.  The facility will be run by those interested in helping children and teenagers grow .  We believe parents, children, teachers, business owners, churches, coaches and all organizational leaders will benefit from this Heavenly environment provided for our children.  The ultimate goal is that the establishment will be open before and after school, able to provide program facility, bussing, field trip starting point.

We have begun with an outreach to teenagers by following a commandment of God: “Feed my Sheep” (John 21)

We use what is available to provide the love of Jesus through cookies, hotdogs, drinks and whatever else might be appropriate. It is our mission to let every young person know that they are special in Gods eyes. Let’s attend every event possible where teenagers abide and feed them. We can’t be every where all the time but we can reach those where we are.

We would like to sincerely thank you  for giving  us your time and patience in this matter. We have been given a vision to provide a place for all to enjoy and embrace. If you have any questions, please email us. We would love to hear your ideas and comments.

In His Service, Bradley N. Woolf
