I
would like to thank the Lord for the great work of ministry that has
been entrusted to us as potential players. I take the honor to
report about what the activities so far at the Son Center.

CENTER UGANDA
END OF NOVEMBER MONTHLY REPORT 2008.
PLANNED ACTIVITIES.
(These are the activities which were planned)
Orientation.
Management meeting and Office arrangement.
Door to Door mission in Bugembe while educating families about
positive parenting.
Identification of target groups and registration.
Discipleship.
Youth reproductive Health Education.
Life skills.
Follow up on OVCs and people who accepted to get saved.

ACCOMPLISHED TASKS/ACTIVITIES.
(Below
are the activities which were accomplished.)
Registration of the organization We
managed to register with the ministry of Local government (gender and
community services).
Orientation
Orientation exercise was carried out from 3rd to 7th
November.We took son center stakeholders through the Vision mission and
objectives and key intervention areas of the organization.
Door to Door Evangelism:
The Door to Door mission was carried out in Katwe area, 100 people were
expected to be reached, and they were reached .of the 100 people 20 gave
their lives to Jesus and got saved. 50 of them promised to get saved in
their future. 30 people agreed to listen to the gospel but made no
commitments. This was done by mostly youth volunteers in November.
Management
Meeting:
The management meeting was held on 10th November 2008.The
major issues discussed were;
The vision of son center
The mission
The methods of carrying out Evangelism.
Other key interventions of son center.
Identification
of target groups:
This exercise was done on 11th ,18th , 19th
,24th November 2008.The targeted number of clients was
40people.Of the forty (40)people,14 children of age groups 3-16 were
registered. Three widows were registered .A small number was reached
because of insufficient funds and high expectations from the community
as it will be seen later in the challenges faced.
Children’s
day. It
was carried out on 16th, November 2008 from 8:00am to midday.
Children came to the center and received Orientation of the center
programs. They had devotion, bible study and personal hygiene and
sanitation Education ,drinks and bread were bought for them and they
went home rejoicing.
Follow
up.
Follow up exercise was carried out on 17th and 21st
November 2008 . 10 Orphans and Vulnerarble Children were visited to find
out how they are doing. We shared the word of God with them and prayed
with them and encouraged them to place their hope in Jesus Christ.

CHALLENGES
IN THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER
The organization went through the following challenges.
1. Insufficient Funds
The organization had insufficient funds for the following
Inadequate space for the activities
Paying of volunteers.
Hiring man power to have life skills Education and positive
parenting
Help the most Vulnerable children and families which had high
expectations and great need of basic necessities.
Transport to the distant places to carry out Evangelism home visits
and follow up.
Office equipment.
Computers and a Printer for official work.
Buying food for the volunteers and children during children’s days.
Inadequate man power
The organization has inadequate man power to carry out and implement
its activities, so far, it has only one full time staff who who
works with a few volunteers.

Clarification
for Son Center Uganda’s operation.
We
registered through the ministry of local government, set up the office,
Evangelism is going on ,we have identified orphans and other activities
Our idea is Son Center should be the same both in the U.S. and in
Uganda, thus the operation should be the same. We would like to know how
Son Center operates overseas so that we do the same and maybe add
a few things because of the ways in which things may work in Uganda.
We would like to know how the structure should be.

Hello mike,
Hope you are doing well.
We are so much excited about what the Lord is doing
in Uganda .
These are just briefs of what we are doing and what
we shall be involved in as we expand Activities .
Evangelism
Child care services
Youth friendly initiatives
Outreaches to prisoners and the hospitalized
Education
Sensitization and capacity building on
HIV/AIDS and Malaria.
I strongly believe that man can not operate without
the physical body. So all some thing needs to be done to help one
function well before they listen to the gospel .
I remember recently when visitors came to our church
and organized a medical clinic and we had so many people including
those that have not been coming to attend especially Moslems. Some
of them got saved and this was because of the free medicine they
received and they could not afford. Most of them missed treatment
because of the large number.

So I believe if we handle the people using
approaches like these, many will be encouraged.
We intend to introduce the good news of the gospel
of Jesus Christ to the children so that it will help them develop
good personal ethics and live responsibly.
Providing care and security for OVCs within our
program areas.
Restoration of a good culture from grassroots
level.
Contribute to the Educational needs of the less
privileged youths
In the year 2006 a group of families in Jinja teen
realized the majority of orphans and children from poor families had
difficulty in achieving their academic aspirations. This resulted
into these young people failing to get
into gainful employment which in turn subjected them
to poor feeding, poor health care and consequently disease.
I therefore believe that with the Son Center,
at least some peoples' lives will be changed as we believe God to
provide.

Thank you so much........!!
I hope you are doing very well.
I am so much excited because of your great care and devotion in
helping to build son center Uganda. Before I came to check on the
mail , I was like God what am I going to do trying to get office
equipment , now I have taken on the second child to live with me
after the mother failing to take care of her, and yet she has to go
to school.
My friend mike I am determined to take this to another level and
starting from next week I will fully be involved in son center work.
I am officially handing over on Saturday this week. I do not know
whether I made a wrong decision but this was because of the passion
to see son center grow because there is a lot that has not been
done.
I am greatly hoping that the Lord will provide
because of the new life that I am starting now; it seems so
difficult with so many questions especially how I am going to take
care of the children and other home affairs but I know I am more
than a conqueror
I am allowing God to take me step by step because He
knows my destiny and ministry though sometimes I may have a great
speed. God's pace is the
best.....wow!

News!!!
Hello mike freese,
The Good News is that I have been able to go through the process of
registration. Son Center Uganda is now
registered and free to operate.
I have the certificate from the Local government. Thank you for
your prayers and help.
We have organised a conference for the youths that will taking place
From 1st -8th September 2008.This is gona be exciting to see youths and
other people get inspired. This makes me happy and I continue to
appreciate the Great God who provides for you and entirely the work in
Uganda.
The next thing I am looking for is a small office to rent as a
basis for the ministry we are doing; or the premises for permanent
residence of the same. A place which can accommodate not only the people
who come to seek God and do their programs but also at least guests who
come to work or do what ever activity with the son center.
I went to some place looking for a house to buy or rent but I found
out that buying one would be cheaper in the long run because even the
rent charges are high and one is expected to pay for the first six
months.

Hello mike and Sherri freese!,
How are you doing? How is your family? Long time
I thank you so much for the tremendous ministry you are carrying on at
the son center and I greatly hope that God is going to supply according
to His riches. We have been praying for you and continuously think about
your family.
I was thinking that everything would be done by this time but I have
been delayed ; but I know soon everything will soon be great and though
this has kind of delayed ,the most important thing is that son center is
already on and some of my friends and youths are really on fire for this
ministry. It has been so long without communicating to you but I had
just planned to do this when everything is complete. I thank the Lord
for the great ministry.
This evening I was walking and I met this one Lady whose husband just
abandoned the family and she had just gotten into small room but with
four children after the one who was helping to rent for them broke the
news that he was not able to do that anymore. I had earlier on promised
to stand with them because the Lady entirely has nothing. Some times she
is not sure of the next meal. Son center is going expected to help
people like this lady and I believe God will do it.

The situation is not good for some of our brothers and sisters in Uganda
however they still have the hope to see the goodness of the Lord.
I have been trying to look for a house where son center could entirely
base and have some of its offices and surely the houses are there but I
am believing God for provision to secure /rent this facility. I am
allowing God to take us through this humble beginning and I hope that
soon we will get there. I would like to reach a time when all my energy
and time will be focused on this because I also have to attend the
school duties probably this is why it has taken long for me to meet
these officials.
There are so many things I am planning and soon I will contact you for
advise on how to carry them on.
I take the initiative of thanking you for the great ministry you are
taking on in Ohio and would like to wish you the best. God bless you
and continue to provide.

I have taken awhile without writing to you because I have been so busy
with work and taking some days to move to the different officials to
sign the forms for me and more recommendations ..Actually I am left
with a few places to go to. I thank God I have been successful wherever
I have been. .Thank you so much for the great message about the new
things that the Lord is doing.I hope the T.V show went on great You may
never know what the Lord is doing. I have told some people about your
great work in united states.
I hope to be in touch and give you more updates

Hello Mike,
I tried to send a message telling you that I got the money but because
of the internet services it did not show clearly that the message was
sent so I decided to write again to you confirming that I received.I am
currently working on the registration process as required by the
government and I hope it will soon be completed. There are quite a
number of challenges but they all be cleared I God is able. I am
intending to use also part of the salary that get to be able to push
some activities because that is what I have now if God was to ask me. I
know God will meet my individual problems but the situation in Uganda is
not good people are suffering. Today some Lady called after church and
was crying saying they are demanding house rent but she had no idea of
how she would clear that.

Hello mike and sheri freese,
I am glad for what the Lord is doing and I strongly believe that
God is committed to fulfill the desires of our hearts. This week I have
been able to work on the constitution as required by the government. I
now have to fill different forms that different local councils have to
sign and forward me for further approval. I am glad that this will soon
be done and I will keep you on track with the latest up dates.
the RDC, has to sign the document and further i will continue to the
officials for approval and registration. This might take some days but
still I know that every thing will be done.

Hello mike freeze,
How are you and your amazing family doing? Thank you for the email
We made it to Uganda on Tuesday morning and are quite busy . I thank you
so much for the great love you showed to us by hosting us in your Son
Center. Every single minute I think about what what God is gonna
start in Uganda .
you and I do not know what God wants to do in Uganda and the rest of the
other parts of the world. I was so much encouraged and considered it an
answered prayer with joy when I miraculously met you and were able to
take a moment sharing.
A few months before we came to the states my friend and I were talking
and she told me about what God was gonna start in my life and the entire
ministry .Little did i know that God was organizing for our divine meet
in Ohio.
Mike I am greatly taken up by the ministry and seriously praying to God
for the place where He wants me to open it up. I have come to realize
that God

wants to entrust me with serving his people who are in
Uganda and the opportunity to pray with and for them.
When I shared with you that evening I just felt strongly
this was an opportunity to continue serving the people in Uganda. mike
the greatest needs of the people as you requested are food ,shelter, clothing
and Education but this has more other related problems depending on
where they are located. I will continue updating you about what I am
planning because this requires great commitment and you never know I
might have to leave other things just as you did to be able to
concentrate on this ministry. And you know what I am ready to do that
because I would like to have all my energy given to God and also be able
to store for my self in heaven. For this is the purpose for our
existence.
I take a while to go to the place where I can get on line but I will be
able to do that in order to keep in touch with you.
